They don’t play about catfish in the southern states, Georgia is no different, they take pride in fresh, crisp, deep fried deliciousness. Ezell’s is about an hours drive outside of the Atlanta metro area depending on your location. If you are passing through Columbus, heading to Calloway Gardens, enjoying Pine Mountain, it’s well worth the quick detour.
Stop in during lunch and get the most for your money, especially if you are a traveling family. My favorite is always the slightly spicy hush puppies and the cool, crisp but chunky coleslaw. The grits are cheesy, thick and pair perfectly with shrimp or fish. The decor is rustic, puts you in the frame of mind of a fish shack out on a lake. The wait staff provides southern hospitality that is packed with the syrup that sweetens a tall glass of sweet tea. Enjoy!

Yummy! Ny! That sounds scrumptious! As always, you have provided a delectable vision of Southern cuisine. I am so looking forward to traveling to this little Dime. I love catfish and hush puppies. It will be nice to try something fresh and new. I am going to plan a Saturday outing to go with hubby. Cant wait!
