Tip Number 1
Start drinking more water a few weeks before your trip. If you aren’t drinking a gallon per day currently, you need that once you arrive to stay hydrated. I know you hear dry heat, dry heat, but dry heat at 125 degrees does something different to your body and dehydration can happen very quickly. Don’t risk having a heat stroke or fainting in a public place as I did. I know chewing ice might seem like a good idea, but avoid it unless it has been made with bottled water, and use it to keep your body cool instead.
