Hollow

As a child I always felt like I was seeking something that was missing, approval, validation, love. As an adult I desired to feel a connection to a family unit, not saying that I did not have my own family, but I wanted something that was my own creation. Broken pieces lead me on a search for those to fill the internal spaces that were hollow, and that left me with less than what I had when I began.
