Lost a contact lens and I did not have a spare pair or my glasses. I left both on the counter at home in my rush to the airport! Ended up not being able to see shit for 3 days and had no options without my prescription! Having sight in one eye is dangerous, especially in unfamiliar surroundings. If I had travel insurance, I could have had this small problem solved with minimal interruption to my trip! Instead I had to spend most of the time in my room and missed out on all those Puerto Rican men that might have been my future husband’s 😂
Ladies, this alone is a reason to travel insured! 😉
