I am trying to do better, especially when traveling. How do I step out of my comfort zone, try a few new foods and not offend anyone? Sincerely~No Foodie

Many people are hesitant to try new foods, especially while traveling. For one, yes it can be a bit intimidating if it’s not your culinary norm, and nobody wants digestive issues interrupting a trip! Start slowly with something simple like a nice bread, or maybe a rice dish, a dessert, whatever it is, take a small portion to start, that will prevent you from wasting food and who knows, you may simply love everything you try!
I would avoid strange fruits for the first few days, and anything raw. I was given that advice by my travel agent, it’s a motto I live by after getting food poisoning. Please check back in and tell me what you tried and what you loved!
