I love nothing better than supporting local crafts while traveling. I will admit, I do not have the ability to haggle, and I really don’t believe in it. Why would I have the means to afford to fly halfway across the world and then try to pay 10 dollars for a bracelet you are selling for 20? No, he may not have made the bracelets, but his mother or sisters might have. How could I know the time and effort it takes and how dare I tell them they deserve less. Note-the woman in the photo is in no way related to this post, she was simply in the spot when I took the shot.
Much love from the brown girl, traveling the world, not haggling and buying something beautiful!

Beautiful perspective on sowing seed into others and having an appreciation to pay them for their skills and worth. The skills we don’t always have, and wish we did! Lol! I’m with you. Grateful to be blessed and support vendors and entrepreneurs when I travel. It’s worth it.
